JOINT HEALTH & SAFETY COMMITTEE (JHSC)

Our Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) is composed of worker and employer representatives. Together, they are mutually committed to improving health and safety conditions at the JMPC. Our committee identifies potential health and safety issues and brings them to our employer’s attention. They are also kept informed of health and safety developments in the workplace by our employer.

The committee holds regular meetings and conducts regular workplace inspections and makes written recommendations to the employer for the improvement of the health and safety of our workers. CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI) COMMITTEE

The purpose of Continuous Quality Improvement Committee is to improve our home by identifying problems, implementing and monitoring corrective actions and studying their effectiveness. It is an ongoing process that evaluates how our home works and the committee tries to have members from all areas of the home.
